lyrics

I fear the fear that breeds hate and escalates the stakes
That takes a person to a place of feelin’ no escape
And so they’re taking weapons to a place of peace
Placing peeps seeking peace in a place underneath (six feet deep)

Nah… uh… I don’t wanna... see another of these headlines
Telling me about the innocent caught in the cross-fire (not again)
it’s hard to imagine how you can turn a gun
on anyone / that’s unarmed / as they run / it’s so f*#ked /

I’m so stunned / but so not / we saw it comin’ / warning shots
ya stir the pot / ‘n’ fan the flames / well now Scott, guess what you got? (guess what?)
You got a problem - you’re implicated / In that hate - you participated
Short term gain - long term pain / That race to the bottom got us all insane

But at the end of the day…. all I see is a face
Of that three year old kid / Mucad Ibrahim / rest in peace
To all of the peeps… who lost family
We send out love… We feel your grief.
